I build practical AI and mobile apps, and I ship them.

I'm the founder and sole engineer of ROVTECH AI LTD. I own the whole product: data model, backend, Android app and store release, and I run it all from my phone with an AI-assisted build workflow.

Every status here is accurate. Live means you can download it today. MVP and testing mean it runs, but hasn't launched yet.

Go Healthy

com.rovtechai.fitnessapp

A fitness app where your streak keeps a pet dog happy.

Meet Bruno: he grows only if you keep your streak. Daily meal plans with calorie targets, a hydration plan split across the day, and XP for logging food and water. My first shipped product: I took it from concept and data model to public release, and I still own its signing, compliance, versioning and updates.

RideOut

Group rides for motorcyclists, with a chat for every ride.

A rider hosts a ride with a meeting point, destination, time and pace, and others join. The route is drawn with distance and time, and every ride gets its own real-time group chat. Hosts moderate their ride, and report, block and in-app account deletion are already built for Play Store rules.

Buy and sell inside your building.

A private marketplace that only the residents of one building can see. Join with an invite code from the building team, list an item in seconds, message the seller, reserve it and agree a pickup time. The handover is confirmed with a 4-digit PIN: the buyer shows it, the seller enters it, and the item is marked sold. Sellers appear under a nickname, with reports, blocking, building moderators and in-app account deletion built in.

  • Building-scoped access control enforced server-side on every endpoint, behind verified Firebase ID tokens and row-level security.
  • Guarded transaction flow (reserve, pickup window, PIN handover, sold), so a listing can't get stuck or be sold twice.
  • pytest suite covering onboarding, listings, buying, PIN confirmation, moderation, messaging, blocking and account deletion.

SafeSpend

One number: how much you can safely spend today.

A transparent formula (money left, minus bills before payday and a safety buffer, over the days to payday) with a "Why this number" screen that shows the whole calculation. The offline Android app is built and runs on-device. The FastAPI engine, Supabase schema and SQL views are built and verified; the ML layer (XGBoost with SHAP, forecasting, anomaly detection) and a RAG finance coach are designed, and are next to build.

Ride Buddy

A distance bubble over Google Maps for two riders.

For two riders on separate bikes, both navigating with Google Maps. A floating bubble shows how far apart you are and who is ahead, and beeps if you get separated. A name and a 6-character ride code, no sign-up. When GPS error is too large it says "Nearby" instead of showing a falsely precise number.

Kevin's Joy Ride

A Himalayan 450 mountain traffic-riding game.

Ride through two-way mountain traffic past prayer flags and pine forests, with a day to night cycle, near-miss combos, Endless and Time Attack modes, ten riders and a garage with 14 customisable parts. Built in plain Java with a custom game loop and a synthesised engine sound.

How I build

From my phone to a tested APK

I run Claude Code on my laptop and direct it from my phone while I'm out. It comes back with a built, tested Android app. Scroll to run the pipeline.

  1. Brief from my phoneI describe the feature or fix. The laptop session picks it up over Remote Control.
  2. Read the repo firstEach app's README is its memory. The agent reads it, then plans small, reviewable changes.
  3. Build and testIt runs the app on the Android emulator and checks the backend's security rules live.
  4. ReleaseThe release APK goes up as a private GitHub release, and the arm64 build lands on my phone.
  5. Write it downEvery change is committed and the README is rewritten, so the next session starts with full context.
Security checked against the live backendRideOut's row-level security passed 19 role-based tests. Ride Buddy's database rules pass 19 live checks.
CI on GitHub ActionsRide Buddy runs its unit tests on every push and publishes a signed APK for each version tag.
One private repo per productEach README records state, decisions and open work, so nothing is lost between sessions.

About

Kevin Luke Aaron

I'm a London-based software developer with an MSc in Data Science. In August 2025 I set up ROVTECH AI LTD as the home for the products I build: practical tools for residential communities, student accommodation, personal finance and local businesses.

I like products with a clear, real job, and I care about the unglamorous parts that get them to release: schema design, security rules, store compliance and testing.
